In addition to serving as ensemble librarian for University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music, Breanna Daley is a music educator, performer and researcher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in flute performance from Washington State University and a master’s degree in flute performance from University of Northern Iowa. In winter 2023, she will also complete her master’s degree in music history from University of Northern Iowa. 

Daley has previously worked as a graduate assistant for the University of Northern Iowa School of Music where she assisted with woodwind techniques courses, music history courses and flute ensembles. She has also served as a student library assistant at University of Northern Iowa’s Rod Library working in the fine and performing arts collection, and as a graduate assistant at the University of Northern Iowa Museum where she assisted in managing the museum’s archival collections.

AS a performer Daleya has appeared with various ensembles in Washington, Iowa and Northern California. She currently plays with the Sacramento Symphonic Winds, Camellia City Flute Choir and Sacramento Flute Club. She has also been teaching private flute lessons for over five years.
