Featuring Guest Artist Keith Brown!

The Jazz Studies Program at University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music is excited to announce the 2024 Pacific Jazz Festival, featuring Keith Brown.

The Pacific Jazz Festival enables music students in local communities to enrich their knowledge and understanding of jazz through interactions with educators, artists, clinicians and faculty members in the Pacific Jazz Studies program. Participation in the Pacific Jazz Festival is open to all high-school and junior-college-level instrumental jazz ensembles, combos and vocal jazz ensembles.

Guest Artist

Keith Brown

Keith L. Brown is an accomplished composer, educator, and pianist, who has established himself as one of the most sought-after pianists in contemporary jazz. He was born in Memphis, TN, and raised in Knoxville, TN, where he began playing piano and bass at a young age.

Group Registration

Registration Fee: $400/group.

During the Pacific Jazz Festival, each registered group will perform for 25 minutes.

Each group's performance will immediately be followed by a clinic with Pacific jazz faculty. Oral and written feedback from Pacific jazz faculty and guest clinicians will be provided.
