The five-week percussion ensemble class at Pacific Community Music School is open to experienced percussion performers with over three years of experience. Your coach Jonathan Latta is an active performer and serves as Associate Professor of Practice in Percussion at Pacific.

You will learn musical and artistic skills and techniques while rehearsing on the conservatory’s world-class instruments. Additionally, you will gain a rewarding experience found in percussion ensemble music.

2024 Final Performance

The class will culminate in a public concert performed jointly with Pacific Percussion Ensemble on the stage of iconic Faye Spanos Concert Hall, Stockton.

  • $160 fee includes access to instruments, five weeks of rehearsals and the final performance.
  • No audition but more than three years of experience are required.
  • Students with less than three years of experience will be considered with a letter of support from their current music instructor.

All rehearsals/classes will take place at Instrumental Rehearsal Hall on Pacific's Stockton Campus.
